Hotel Reservations
Hotel reservations should be made by December 31, 2008. Reservations requested after the cut-off date are subject to availability. Be sure to ask for the NMC convention rate. You must contact the hotel directly for reservations.

Short Course Enrollment Status (registration deadline January 12)
As of January 13, 2009:
Short course 3 (Estimating the Costs of Mastitis) is FULL. No additional registrations will be accepted.
Short course 5 (Using Bacterial Count Data to Investigate Herd Problems) is FULL. No additional registrations will be accepted.

Pre-registration for the short courses is now closed. There may be a couple of spots open for onsite registration at the meeting -- check with the NMC office.

Registration Deadlines
The early-bird pre-registration deadline is December 31. After December 31st, the registration fees increase $25. The final date to pre-register is January 12. Any forms received in the NMC office after January 12 will NOT be registered. After January 12, you need to register onsite (at the meeting). Please note that short course registration closes January 12, and onsite registration for short courses may not be available.

Raffle o Benefit National Mastitis Research Foundation
Raffle tickets, with winning prizes of cash gift cards, will be sold during meeting to help raise funds for the National Mastitis Research Foundation (NMRF). The NMRF provides scholarships for graduate students to attend the NMC annual meeeting. You may purchase raffle tickets when you register online, or at the meeting.

Golf Outing Planned
The fourth annual "Woody Pankey Open" has been tentatively scheduled for Saturday, January 24. Tee times will start about noon. Proceeds from the event will go to the National Mastitis Research Foundation's "Woody Pankey Memorial Fund".
Details will be announced when finalized.
