Is
there a difference in registration fee between NMC members and non-members?
No. Pre-registration
is the same for NMC members and non-members.
Is
there a registration discount for additional people from the same farm
or same company?
No.
May I register for an event on just one day, or
do I need to attend both days of the conference?
You may select events on just one day or both days.
What
are the deadlines for registration?
To receive
the pre-registration discount for the general session (main program
on Wednesday), your payment must be received at the NMC office by
May 20. After this date you must register onsite. The deadline for
signing up for the NMC short courses is also May 20, however
the courses may fill up before the deadline. On-site registration for
short courses will not be accepted the day of the meeting UNLESS there
is space available. You must contact the NMC office directly to find
out.
Are
credit cards accepted?
Yes.
Do
you send out confirmations for registration?
Confirmations
are emailed to registrants who provide an email address.
Can
I get a refund if I cancel?
Full refunds are provided if made online or in writing prior to
May 17. A $25 administrative fee will apply to all cancellations after
May 17. No refunds are provided after May 26. All requests must
be made online or in writing (fax or email).
Questions
on the Short Courses
May
I take more than one short course?
No. The courses
run concurrently.
If
a course is full, may I be put on a waiting list?
No. Waiting
lists are not maintained.
What
is the registration deadline for the NMC short courses?
May
20 .
How
do I know if a short course still has space available?
Enrollment
status for each course is updated on a regular basis. Check the meetings
updates and announcements section or contact the NMC office
to find out if a course has filled up.
Are
short course registrations accepted after the deadline?
The pre-registration
deadline is May 20. Onsite registration
will not be accepted for the short course unless there is space available.
You must contact the NMC office to check whether you may register for
a short course on-site.
Do

Continuing Education Credits
Are continuing education credits available?
Yes. The American Registry of Professional Animal Scientists (ARPAS)
has approved 5 CEUs for the main general session program on Thursday,
May 28. The pre-conference short courses (May 27) have been approved
for 4 CEUs, except for the on-farm workshop on animal welfare, which
is 7 CEUs.
